PEQ15

This PEQ-15 is a game ready asset created in 2018 for an unannounced project. The PEQ-15 is also known as the Advanced Target Pointer Illuminator Aiming Light (ATPIAL) is a laser aiming / illumination device that is typically mounted on personal weapons. The beam can be set to narrow and used for aiming / target acquisition.

Ideally we always aim to recreate the real thing with some artistic interest. We're really pleased with how this asset turned out. Some artistic liberties were taken in the texturing phase, such as the label design and color, the overall plastic materials, small accent metals, colors, and level of damage often seen on the real version of these.

It's always good to experiment with rendering and presentation styles as well, you can see a few here with a technique of underlighting the subject, simulating it being on a lightbox.
