Model 625

Texture Tuesday / Model 625 Revolver

The Model 625, is a six-round, double-action revolver. It’s a direct descendant of the M1917 revolver first issued during World War I. This asset was created for an unannounced project in 2018. We created this with the speed-loader included. It was such a pleasure to create given the high gloss and shiny materials on the metal frame. We chose to make the frame, drum, and overall natural metals more lustrous than the real life revolver. Taking artistic liberties, we chose to enhance the glossiness more as well to emphasize heightened realism.
